We’re proud to partner with Franklin Band Camp and Veritas Instrument Rentals to provide high quality instrument rentals for clarinet, flute, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion campers.
All rentals come with:
A high quality, band teacher approved instrument
A free 30 minute trial lesson - a $45 value!
Easy pickup on your first day of camp
How to rent:
Online Order: Place an order through our Rent From Home website and pick up your instrument on your first day of camp.
Rent In Person: Come to our booth on your first day of camp and fill out the rental paperwork.

For online rentals: After completing the Rent From Home checkout process, you will be provided a link to sign up for your free trial lesson!
For in person rentals: Sign up for your free trial in person!

Instruments and Rates
Instruments may be kept for up to 60 days, or you can keep it beyond that and continue renting the regular monthly rate.

No matter the damage, you can bring your instrument back to our store to be repaired for free! Students will receive a loaner instrument to use while their instrument is being repaired.
Customer’s who have opted out of LDW insurance coverage may request a repair quote.
Returns
Easy cancellations!
To return your rental instrument, just bring it back to our store during business hours (weekdays 1-6pm) to end your rental subscription.
Exchanges
Switching or upgrading instruments
Receive up to 6 months of rental credit when you switch to a new instrument, or between 12-24 months when upgrading to an intermediate instrument. To exchange your rental instrument, please call 703-890-0444 so we can make sure we have your desired instrument in stock and order if needed.

Nope - if you prefer to sign up in person, you can complete the entire rental process at booth on the first day of camp! However, instruments are first come first serve, so renting online in advance is encouraged to guarantee you receive your instrument on the first day.

We offer free instrument repairs - just bring your instrument to Mr. Tufts in the percussion room, and pick up a loaner instrument to use while yours is being repaired.

We have a selection of band instrument accessories such as reeds, cleaning swabs, and more available for sale at our rental pickup booth. Students can also purchase these throughout camp from Mr. Tufts in the percussion room.

We currently offer clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, and percussion lessons here at Vanguard. Instrument rentals come with a free trial lesson in any instrument! Just click the link after completing the Rent From Home checkout process, or sign up in person at our booth on the first day of camp!

If you rent your instrument online, we’ll have it ready for you on the first day of camp. Just stop by our pickup booth and provide the student’s name and instrument.
