For 15 years, our Director of Education Ben Tufts has been hosting "Ben Tufts & Friends" concerts featuring DMV talent, benefitting the scholarship fund in his father Craig's name. Craig was the Chief Naturalist at the National Wildlife Federation for 33 years, and the memorial fund in his name funds the study of nature by budding environmentalists from all over the United States.

Every BT&F event is a different theme, and since 2026 coincides with Ben's 50th birthday, he decided to feature the music that was on the radio and in concert halls in 1976. You'll hear music from ABBA, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Boston, Cat Stevens, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Hall and Oates, Heart, Joni Mitchell, Led Zeppelin, Peter Frampton, Rush, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, The Band, The Ramones, Thin, Lizzy, Tom Petty, Warren Zevon and more!

Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience, an epic concert film featuring the global K-Pop sensation and their sold-out SoFi Stadium performances, along with behind-the-scenes footage. The film provides fans with a bold, large-scale theater experience, allowing them to see a glimpse behind the curtain of their favorite band.

Our friends from Sugar Shack NoVA will be stopping by to sell you some tasty frozen treats!

Participants will dive into learning tunes, scales, theory, and the building blocks of jazz language in a supportive, hands-on setting. Learn the basics on guitar and bass set-up and maintenance from Al Pachter of Al’s Guitar Workshop, with demonstrations on instruments that are brought in by participants! Al will show how to make the adjustments and use the tools needed, with particular emphasis placed on which repairs are suitable for those interested in learning guitar maintenance and which are better left to a professional.
