Registration for the next Winter Percussion Ensemble will open in the fall!
Winter Percussion Ensemble is just around the corner!
The Honors Winter Percussion Ensemble at Vanguard Arts is a performance oriented class for students ages 10 through 14. Students will gain experience performing on a wide variety of percussion instruments from the concert tradition, as well as around the world. Our coaches are Vanguard Director Ben Tufts, and GMU percussion student Claudia Gusman. Tufts has led similar programs in the region over the past 20 years, and Gusman brings her extensive performance experience with Mason's ensembles.
January 10th through March 21st
Final performance Saturday March 21st
Saturdays 9:30am-12pm
Age: 10-14
Cost: $350
All students will need a referral from their current school band director or private instructor.
