Morgan Seymour is a guitarist, producer, vocalist, and songwriter from Northern Virginia. They have been playing guitar for over six years, as well as bass guitar, ukulele, and sings, rounding off their skill set as a passionate songwriter. Morgan is the lead guitarist of the DMV pop-rock band Neon Habits, and provides services as session guitarist, gig guitarist, and producer/songwriter. As a solo artist, they aligns with DIY-emo and alternative rock and metal based music, contrasting the funky, bright riffs and techniques they use for Neon Habits and other musicians in the local scene.
Morgan’s teaching style is fairly dynamic, while mainly focusing on modern guitar sounds found in progressive genres. They are very capable and happy to teach theory and how it is applicable to composition. As a self-proclaimed “voicing nerd,” Morgan loves to show aspiring guitarists how to make the most out of the fretboard.
