Jan Edelbrock is a seasoned guitar instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience in Fairfax County. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jan is known for being friendly and patient, offering guitar lessons in all styles. Having studied both in the United States and in Europe, Jan majored in performing arts and is mastered in music education. Her background includes classical and contemporary music. She has experience on the guitar with both ensemble and solo performances.
With a passion for making music both accessible and enjoyable, she focuses her teaching on helping students build a solid understanding of the guitar fretboard and key musical concepts. By integrating the styles her students love, she keeps lessons engaging and relevant. In addition to practical playing skills, she emphasizes learning to read music, empowering students to confidently learn, share, and communicate songs with others.

We keep a card on file and bill your account on the 1st of the month, for all of the lessons in that month.

We do all of our private guitar lessons in our studio located in Chantilly, VA. Our state-of-the-art facility provides a dedicated learning environment designed to foster a strong sense of community, access to top-tier equipment, and a focused learning atmosphere.
