Join Vanguard’s Rock Academy this summer!
Spend two days learning all about beat making, song structure and production techniques, from one of the top producers and music educators in the region! A perfect workshop for aspiring singer-songwriters, rappers, or non-vocalists alike-each student works in their own comfort zone. Let your creativity flow, and walk away with some original music to share with your friends and family.

Cost $400 per session
Recommended Age: 10–17
No experience necessary, any instrument can be provided. All campers will be put in groups based on age and experience. Camp hours are 9:30 to 3:30.

In addition to top notch instruction from professionals in the region, our camp package includes a performance on Vanguard’s pro stage with lighting and sound and experience in our recording studio. Form a band with your peers, learn songs together, pick a band name and play a concert for your friends and family!
Each day includes guided listening, coached rehearsal with your band, a masterclass on your instrument and individual practice time to prepare the songs. Camp staff will help you choose your favorite songs to play, pick a band name, write a setlist--maybe even write your own song!
